Seduction and Subversion: The art of James Guppy 1989 - 2009. A 20 year survey of works by renowned painter James Guppy. His dramatic work explores broad social issues and the nightmares of life in the 21st century, as well as the secrets of our inner lives and private dreams. Courage to Care: An empowering exhibition celebrating the extraordinary people who risked their lives to save others during World War II. Established in 1999, Courage to Care is designed to convey the power of an individual to stand up against bullying, prejudice and injustice whenever it takes place. A Tweed River Art Gallery Touring Exhibition. Courage to Care is a major project of B'nai B'rith. Operation Art: An exhibition of paintings by school students created for children in hospital, Operation Art has gained widespread recognition for its standards of excellence and rich diversity unparalleled in children's art. Operation Art is an initiative of the Westmead Children's Hospital and the NSW Department of Education and Training Public Program - Seduction and Subversion - floortalk. Join artist James Guppy and Susi Muddiman, Director, Tweed River Art Gallery in conversation about the exhibition Seduction and Subversion: The art of James Guppy 1989 - 2009. Guppy's dramatic work explores broad social issues and the nightmares of life in the 21st century, as well as the secrets of our inner lives and private dreams.
