Visitors to our City would no doubt have noticed a set of six flagpoles located on the east bank (Berry Park) of the Macquarie River at Kelso. The flags flown on those flagpoles are changed at regular intervals to reflect events that play a part in the everyday lives of the people of the City of Bathurst.
Council acknowledges the Lions Club of Bathurst who erected the poles and flags as a project to enhance the entrance to our city and who continue to change and maintain the flags flown.
The first flagpole always flies the Australian National flag.
Currently, the flags being flown are:
 Australia
 Torres Strait Islands

Aboriginal Flag

Estonia
